यह देखकर हैरानी होती है कि मशीनें कितनी तेजी से हमारी जगह लेती जा रही हैं। जी नहीं, मैं मैट्रिक्स, टर्मिनेटर या ट्रांसफॉर्मर आर्माडा की बात नहीं कर रहा हूं। सिनेमा हमेशा वक्त से आगे रहता ही है। मैं उन छोटे-मोटे प्रयोगों की बात कर रहा हूं जो असल में हमारी दुनिया में मशीनों की बढ़ती दखल की निशानियां हैं। जैसे उस कंप्यूटर प्रोग्रैम को ही लीजिए, जो अब कुछ जगहों पर शेयर ट्रेडिंग के लिए इस्तेमाल होने लगा है। इसके बहाने हम मशीन के टेकओवर की पड़ताल कर सकते हैं। लेकिन पहले देखें कि कैसे चीजों ने बदलना शुरू किया।

कुछ साल पहले तक स्टॉक एक्सचेंज में ओपन क्राइ सिस्टम चलता था। एक बड़े हॉल में तमाम ब्रोकर इकट्ठा होते थे और आवाज व इशारों से आपसी सौदे किया करते थे। माहौल किसी मंडी जैसा शोर भरा होता था और डेली बिजनस उतना ही हो पाता था, जितना इनसान के गले और हाथों की ताकत के वश में है। फिर नैशनल स्टॉक एक्सचेंज का जन्म हुआ, जिसका ट्रेडिंग सेंटर किसी एक जगह पर नहीं था। यह इन्फर्मेशन टेक्नॉलजी पर आधारित मॉडर्न सिस्टम था। देश भर में ब्रोकर वी-सैट के जरिए इससे जुड़े थे और सारी ट्रेडिंग कंप्यूटरों के जरिए होती थी।

इस पहल ने मुंबई स्टॉक एक्सचेंज को भी बदलने पर मजबूर कर दिया और भरे दिल से ओपन क्राइ सिस्टम को विदाई दे दी गई। जब शोर भरे ट्रेडिंग फ्लोर इतिहास की बात हो गए और खामोश लेकिन बिजली की रफ्तार से सौदे निपटाने वाले कंप्यूटरों ने काम संभाल लिया तो ट्रेडिंग की दुनिया एकदम बदल गई। सौदे की बारीकियां बढ़ गईं, फायदे-नुकसान का फर्क बाल बराबर रहने लगा, एक-एक पाई के लिए जंग पैनी होने लगी, चालें पहले से ज्यादा शातिर होने लगीं और बिजनस में जबर्दस्त उछाल आया। यह मशीन की दखल का नतीजा था, लेकिन अब भी इसके पीछे इंसानी दिमाग ही काम कर रहा था। देश भर में हजारों जॉबर और ट्रेडर थे जो मशीनों को बताते थे कि उन्हें क्या करना है। यह इंसानी आंख, दिमाग और उंगलियों का खेल था, जो कंप्यूटर के स्क्रीन पर खेला जा रहा था।

ट्रेडिंग सॉफ्टवेयर इस खेल को बदलने जा रहे हैं। वे इंसान के रोल को या तो खत्म कर देंगे या उतना ही रहने देंगे, जितना बेसिक स्ट्रैटिजी तय करने के लिए जरूरी होगा। वे शेयरों को उठाने-गिराने का खेल खुद खेलेंगे, खुद ही सौदे निपटाएंगे और खुद ही नए मौके तलाश लेंगे। मशीनें शेयर मार्किट में गोता लगाएंगी और मालिक के लिए मछलियां मारेंगी। और जब ऐसा होगा तो दूसरे सिरे पर उनका मुकाबला इंसानों से नहीं अपनी जैसी मशीनों से होगा। टेक्नॉलजी आपस में भिड़ेगी, पावर और स्पीड का इम्तहान होगा और बेहतरीन सॉफ्टवेयर एक दिन सबको पीटकर सारी दौलत पर कब्जा कर लेगा। क्या सचमुच?

मुझे नहीं पता कि मशीनों की इस जंग या कहें ऑटोमेटिक विडियो गेम में उस बेसिक स्ट्रैटिजी का कितना रोल होगा, जो हर सुबह इन्वेस्टमंट हाउसों में मैनिजर तय किया करेंगे और जिसे बाद में मशीनें फॉलो करती रहेंगी। मैं समझता हूं काफी ज्यादा। लेकिन बेसिक पैरामीटर तय हो जाने के बाद मशीनें लगभग आजाद ही रहेंगी, वैसे ही जैसे शिकारी जानवर को एक बार सिखा दिए जाने के बाद छोड़ दिया जाता है।

दरअसल, यह इस रूपक से भी ज्यादा होगा। यह किसी मिशन के लिए छापामार दस्तों को छोड़ देने की तरह होगा। और इस मिसाल में कुछ ऐसा है जो फिक्र पैदा करता है, इसलिए कि यह सिर्फ एक वर्चुअल मुकाबला नहीं, दौलत की होड़ है और आप जानते हैं कि जो शेयर मार्किटको जीत सकता है, वह किसी भी हद तक पावरफुल हो सकता है। यानी यह दुनिया पर राज करने की होड़ हो सकती है।

लेकिन यह भी हो सकता है कि आपसी जंग में भिड़े ये तमाम सॉफ्टवेयर या एक ही सॉफ्टवेयर की कई कॉपियां वैसे ही बैलंस तक पहुंच जाएं जैसे आज के ट्रेडर्स के बीच कायम हो गया है। मैदान के पैंतरों से ज्यादा फैसला इस बात से हो कि शिकारियों को ट्रेनिंग देने वाले मैनेजर कितने काबिल हैं और कोई एक बाजार का बादशाह बनने की जुर्रत न कर सके।

यह मुमकिन है और अच्छा होगा कि ऐसा ही हो, लेकिन मुझे लगता है कि मशीनों की ताकत के आगे हमारा लगातार कमजोर पड़ता जाना तय है। वे इतनी तेज, अक्लमंद और भरोसेमंद हैं कि उनसे अलग होकर हम जी नहीं सकते। इसीलिए इस संसार में उनका स्पेस बढ़ता ही रहेगा, क्योंकि उसे घटाने की हर कोशिश हमें तबाही के कगार पर ला खड़ा करेगी। वापस उसी मिसाल पर लौटें तो यह एकदम मुमकिन लगता है कि एक दिन बेसिक स्ट्रैटिजी तय करने का काम भी विशाल सर्वरों के हवाले कर दिया जाए, जो माकेर्ट के पूरे इतिहास और हर स्टॉक की जन्मकुंडली पल भर में खंगालकर बेहतरीन मौके तलाश सकते हैं। कोई मैनिजर उनकी बराबरी नहीं कर सकता। वह तो मशीनों से यह भी नहीं कह सकता कि वे अब खेलना बंद करें, क्योंकि कंपनी को इससे ज्यादा कमाई की जरूरत नहीं। हम मजबूर हैं अपने फायदे को बढ़ाते रहने के लिए, लेकिन एक दिन उस फायदे को गिनने के लिए भी हमारी जरूरत क्यों रह जाएंगी। वह हर काम जो हम करते आए हैं, एक ऑटोमेटिक सिस्टम हमसे बेहतर कर सकता है।

क्या हमारी तकदीर यही है कि हम ये दुनिया मशीनों के हवाले कर दें?

मुझे लगता है एक ट्रेडिंग सॉफ्टवेयर की बात करते-करते मैं मैट्रिक्स, टर्मिनेटर और ट्रांसफॉर्मर्स की बात करने लगा हूं।

What Is Swine Flu:
Swine flu is an illness that usually infects pigs (swine). It causes a respiratory illness and is very contagious but is rarely fatal. It circulates among pigs throughout the year, but is most common during the late fall and winter, similar to the human flu season.
Why Humans Are Getting Swine Flu:
Typically, humans do not get swine flu. The virus that is affecting people in 2009 seems to have mutated into a combination of swine, avian (bird) and human influenza and has developed the capability of passing from human to human.
Symptoms of Swine Flu:
Symptoms of swine flu are similar to those of the seasonal flu and include:

* Fever
* Body aches
* Cough
* Sore throat
* Headache
* Fatigue
* Occasionally vomiting and diarrhea

What to Do if You Get Sick:

If you are sick with a fever and respiratory illness and you have been to an area that has confirmed cases of swine flu or you have been around someone who is sick and has been to one of the affected areas, you should contact your healthcare provider. He will be able to determine if you need testing for influenza.

If you are sick and feel you are having difficulty breathing, seek medical attention regardless of whether or not you have been traveling.

Do not go to work, school or travel if you are sick. Wash your hands frequently and cover your cough to reduce the spread of the illness.
Swine Flu Treatments:
Swine flu is a virus just like any other strain of flu, but it does appear to respond to the antiviral medications Tamiflu and Relenza. These medications do not cure the illness, but they may shorten the duration, make symptoms less severe or help you avoid it altogether if you are exposed.
Is There a Swine Flu Vaccine:

There is a swine flu vaccine available for pigs but not for humans. It appears that the seasonal flu vaccine is not effective against the swine flu.

The CDC has isolated the virus causing the swine flu and may try to produce vaccines. However, in the case of a true flu pandemic, there will most likely not be time to produce and administer a vaccine to prevent the spread of infection.
Can You Get Swine Flu From Eating Pork:
No. You cannot get swine flu from eating pork or pork products. Swine flu is a respiratory virus and is not carried in the meat of animals. Properly cooked pork and pork products are safe to eat.

Adobe India has launched one of its largest initiatives to battle software piracy working in collaboration with local law enforcement and government authorities.

Adobe said that it recently conducted 25 civil enforcement actions in six major cities across a cross-section of users within commercial institutions, the IT and BPO industry, and other organizations dealing with creative content.

Sandeep Mehrotra, Sales Director, Adobe India said, “Our first priority is to inform and excite our customers about the power of Adobe creative and business solutions. At the same time, we educate our users on Adobe licensing programs and the concept of Software Asset Management to ensure they are working within the law. Where we find flagrant violations of our intellectual property, we will take legal action against both the distribution channel and purchaser to protect our rights.”

Organizations suspected of unlawfully using software are potentially liable for both civil and criminal penalties, including payment of damages and undertaking actions to use fully licensed software only.

Each year, software companies worldwide lose over $47 billion in revenue to piracy, according to research conducted by the Business Software Alliance.
